Cuyler “Huke” Garland has signed with the Dallas Call of Duty team in the upcoming city-based Call of Duty League, the organization announced today. The Dallas team is owned and operated by Dallas-based esports group Envy Gaming. Huke has competed professionally for Envy in Halo (2016-2017) and Call of Duty (2017-2019).
The 19-year-old will relocate to Dallas full time to train at the new Envy Gaming practice facility for its Dallas Call of Duty roster. Huke, who was born in Saudi Arabia and grew up in Arizona, is the youngest Call of Duty player to ever win an X Games medal. Prior to turning 18, Huke had great success in the competitive Halo scene.
Signing with Dallas continues Huke’s legacy as a professional player within the Envy Gaming organization. Envy owns distinction as one of the most winning Call of Duty organizations in history and is the only team to appear in four Call of Duty championships (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017).
