Envy Gaming, owners and operators of the Dallas Call of Duty team in the city-based Call of Duty League, announced the team’s signing of Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro.
18-year-old Shotzzy is a rising star in the professional Call of Duty scene. Prior to his 18th birthday – the age restriction at which a player may turn professional and compete in the Call of Duty League – Shotzzy competed professionally in Halo, winning the 2018 Halo World Championship. He transitioned to playing Call of Duty full-time in 2019 and was a heavily recruited player. In signing with Dallas Call of Duty, Shotzzy will be relocating to North Texas to train at the new Envy Gaming practice facility.
