After an eventful 2018 for Envy CS, we are excited to begin 2019 with a bang! This year we have qualified for 2 tournaments so far. This is OUR year!
First up is the IEM Extreme Masters Katowice! We qualified for the Americas Minor tournament, where we look to take on 7 other teams in the group stages for a prize pool of $50,000! Not only is the money steep, but the top two teams of the minors also gain spots in the Katowice Major. Be sure to check out the ESL streams on the 22nd through 26th of this month for all the action!
Next up in CS is the ongoing ESL Pro League Season 9. Starting April 12th, the 16 total teams will be split into groups of 4. The first place teams of each group proceed to the LAN finals. The second and third place teams then move on into the 2nd group stage. In the 2nd set of group stages, two groups of 4 battle for 2nd and 3rd place in order to move to the LAN Finals. Be on the lookout in April for the ESL streams to catch us!
As 2019 starts, so do our improvements! We can’t wait to face some of the top teams in our region and take over the Americas! In the meantime, take a look at our Youtube channel and Twitter @Envy to fill your Boys in Blue addiction!
