One of the most popular Fortnite Battle Royale streamers in the world, KingRichard, has signed with Team Envy, the organization and KingRichard announced today. The 29-year-old professional player will stream under the Team Envy banner and captain Team Envy’s efforts to build a competitive presence in Fortnite.
Envy Gaming, Inc., which owns the Dallas Fuel franchise in the Overwatch League and operates the Team Envy brand across nine other competitive gaming titles, is one of the largest and most-winning esports groups in the world. Signing KingRichard is the first entry for Team Envy into Fortnite, the hugely popular battle royale game developed by Epic Games.

KingRichard is widely recognized as one of the top Fortnite players worldwide and has more than a half of a million followers on his Twitch channel. He currently holds the world record for the most number of kills (19) with zero damage taken in a complete game of Fortnite. The popular streamer plans to maintain a consistent stream presence while also appearing at future fan events and competitions and creating social content with Team Envy.
Launched in September 2017, Fortnite is one of the fastest growing titles in competitive gaming and ranked as the most popular game viewed and streamed on Twitch in April 2018, according to SullyGnome and TwitchTracker.
